This is a vintage style card I made for my father-in-law. I used Waltzing Mouse Text-it stamp set as well as a Michaels $1 stamp. The patterned paper is from K & Company that was embossed with the swirls Cuttlebug folder. I antiqued the card with Tim Holtz Antique Linen ink (which mixed with the chocolate chip Stampin UP ink and gave the backgrounds a real cool red tint), and distressed the edges with scissors. The die cuts are made with Spellbinders and the Cuttlebug. The ribbon is from Archievers.

2S4Y challenge w/ Father’s Day Card
I have been away on vacation for a while and this is my first chance to sit down and create. I needed to make my husband a Father’s Day card so I decided to do the 2S4Y challenge.
Father’s Day Card
This card started with the sketch from PolkaDoodles. When I saw the intersecting lines I had an inspiration to “basket weave” the ribbon. The blue and brown color scheme seemed masculine to me so I made a father’s day card.
I stamped the blue background with versa stamp watermark ink. The stamps are from Unity and the scalloped circle and rectangle cuts came from the Celebrations cartridges. I used silver embossing powder on the stamps. I used pop dots on the circle on raise it up.
I hope you like it. Thanks for your feedback!
