Sympathy Card

Two of my husband’s friend’s fathers died last week.  I thought the Polka Doodles challenge (black and white with one color) was perfect for these cards.

I stamped the white background with a butterfly Unity stamp.  Then embossed it with sparkly powder.  Next, I cut a frame for the card by using Plantin Schoolbook cart and design studio.  After attaching it to the card I rounded the corners of the card with a punch.  Then I tied two ribbons around the card.

I used Nestabilities from Spellbinders to create the layered rectangles.  I used a different Unity butterfly stamp and embossed it with black powder.  The skinny rectangle with sentiment was cut using Plantin Schoolbook cart and design studio again.  Finally, I added three pearls.

I hope you like it.

Thanks for all your kind comments and feedback.
